Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced PL/SQL Developer with 12+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing Oracle database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, database design, and SQL optimization. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, application developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance database applications.

Required Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later).
  • Proven experience in developing complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and cursors.
  • Strong SQL query optimization and performance tuning experience.
  • Experience with Oracle performance monitoring tools and execution plan analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, indexing strategies, and database design.
  • Experience working with large-scale transactional databases.
  • Strong knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery concepts.
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or SVN.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL applications.
  • Develop and optimize complex stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
  • Analyze and improve SQL query performance using execution plans and tuning techniques.
  • Create and maintain database objects, indexes, views, sequences, and materialized views.
  • Perform database performance analysis and implement optimization strategies.
  • Support production deployments and troubleshoot database-related issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce coding best practices.
  • Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

  • Oracle Database certification is a plus.
