Must-Have
AWS Platform: Proven hands-on experience architecting and operating production workloads on AWS across compute, storage, networking, serverless, and identity. Must understand multi-account design, cost governance, and security controls at scale.
Infrastructure as Code: Ability to design and maintain reusable, modular Terraform codebases integrated into automated pipelines. Comfortable managing remote state, drift detection, and policy enforcement.
Containers & Kubernetes: Deep experience running containerized workloads on Kubernetes in production — including cluster operations, workload security, autoscaling, and observability. EKS expertise required.
DevOps & CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining automated delivery pipelines with integrated security scanning, artifact management, and dependency validation as part of the software delivery lifecycle.
Python & Bash: Strong scripting and development skills for cloud automation, infrastructure tooling, and operational tasks. Ability to build reusable, maintainable code — not just one-off scripts.
API Development: Experience designing and building RESTful APIs with proper authentication, authorization, throttling, and documentation standards.
Nice-to-Have
Data & SQL: Ability to query, transform, and analyze data using SQL and AWS-native data services. Useful for FinOps reporting, CMDB analytics, and platform observability use cases.
Application Development: Comfort building lightweight backend services and writing unit/integration tests. Experience with additional languages like Go or TypeScript is a plus.
Multi-Cloud & Tooling: Exposure to Google Cloud Platform or enterprise platform tooling such as observability platforms, developer portals, or IT service management integrations.
