Roles & Responsibilities
Role Summary
Hands-on, bench-focused test engineer responsible for high-voltage power supply validation,
design characterization, and DVT execution for new product development programs.
Responsibilities
• Perform extensive bench-level testing of high-voltage AC-DC and DC-DC power
supplies (300–800+ VDC bus)
• Execute Design Characterization (DC) and DVT plans under full power and stress conditions
• Validate efficiency, ripple, regulation, transient response, hold-up time, and protection features
• Perform loop stability (FRA/Bode) measurements on high-voltage PFC and isolated stages
• Conduct high-voltage start-up, inrush, and fault testing
• Perform thermal characterization at full load and elevated ambient
• Debug board-level and system-level issues in high-energy power circuits
• Capture and analyze high-voltage waveforms using differential probes and current probes
• Document structured test results with clear pass/fail criteria
