Voice Administrator – Voice Systems & Telecom Implementation Specialist

Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid – Local candidates preferred)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Voice Administrator / Voice Systems & Telecom Implementation Specialist to support enterprise telecommunications projects and Microsoft Teams Calling operations. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating telecom implementations, managing carrier provisioning and number porting activities, supporting Microsoft Teams Calling environments, and working closely with vendors, carriers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills

• Experience coordinating telecommunications implementation or migration projects.
• Hands-on experience with telephone number porting, carrier provisioning, and telecom order management.
• Experience working directly with telecommunications carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, Spectrum, Comcast, or Lumen.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Calling environments.
• Experience provisioning, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Teams-certified phones.
• Strong project coordination, scheduling, documentation, and vendor management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple implementation activities and work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AudioCodes Teams-certified phones.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
• Experience supporting enterprise voice migration or telecom implementation projects.
• Experience with POTS or POTS-in-a-Box migration initiatives.
• Experience in enterprise voice or Unified Communications environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telephone number porting activities with telecom carriers and ensure timely completion of provisioning requests.
• Support POTS-in-a-Box migration projects by coordinating implementation schedules between internal teams, vendors, carriers, and business partners.
• Schedule site implementations, confirm vendor arrival, monitor installation progress, and obtain project completion sign-offs.
• Support day-to-day Microsoft Teams Calling operations, including user provisioning, device deployment, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate installation, replacement, and provisioning of Microsoft Teams-certified phones, including AudioCodes devices when applicable.
• Communicate implementation schedules, service impacts, and telephone number changes to business users and project stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams, telecom vendors, carriers, and business units.
• Maintain implementation documentation, project schedules, and status updates while ensuring successful project execution.
• Troubleshoot telecom implementation issues and coordinate resolution with internal technical teams and external vendors.
