Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Amdocs Billing Architect with extensive expertise in Amdocs STMS billing platforms, Telecom Business Support Systems (BSS), billing transformation, and data migration. The candidate will be responsible for defining and governing scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable billing solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

The role requires strong technical and functional expertise in telecom billing architecture, platform modernization, system upgrades, billing migration, and end-to-end BSS transformation. The architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, and system integrators to deliver reliable and efficient billing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern Amdocs STMS billing architecture and BSS solutions.
• Lead billing data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover.
• Drive billing platform upgrades, modernization, and system consolidation.
• Manage billing processes, including rating, charging, invoicing, payments, taxation, and revenue assurance.
• Design integrations with CRM, product catalog, order management, mediation, provisioning, and financial systems.
• Ensure architecture governance, scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and system integrators.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial experience in telecom BSS and billing architecture.
• Proven experience as an Amdocs Billing Architect, Telecom BSS Architect, Billing Solution Architect, or Domain Architect.
• Strong hands-on or architectural expertise in Amdocs STMS billing platforms, data models, modules, and workflows.
• Extensive experience in billing data migration, transformation, reconciliation, and cutover management.
• Comprehensive understanding of rating, charging, invoicing, payments, taxation, billing adjustments, and revenue assurance.
• Proven expertise in billing architecture, platform upgrades, modernization, system consolidation, and architecture governance.
• Strong experience integrating billing platforms with CRM, product catalog, order management, mediation, provisioning, and financial systems.
• Knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, application integration, and enterprise solution architecture.
• Working knowledge of TM Forum eTOM, SID, and Open APIs.
• Exposure to TM Forum ODA, cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and event-driven integration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale telecom billing transformation and migration programs.
• Experience managing multi-vendor delivery teams and complex enterprise BSS environments.
• Knowledge of telecom revenue management, customer lifecycle management, and order-to-cash processes.
• Experience in billing performance optimization, production stabilization, and operational excellence.
• Relevant Amdocs, TM Forum, cloud, or enterprise architecture certifications.
