2. Identity & Access Management (IAM)

  • Implement and administer Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Managed Identities, Service Principals, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

  • Configure secure authentication using OpenID Connect (OIDC), federated credentials, and secretless authentication.

  • Enforce least-privilege access and enterprise security policies.

3. GitHub Enterprise Administration

  • Administer GitHub Enterprise organizations, teams, repositories, permissions, branch protection, and repository rulesets.

  • Manage GitHub Apps, OAuth integrations, webhooks, and repository security configurations.

  • Implement enterprise-wide GitHub governance, access controls, and automation standards.

4. CI/CD Automation & Infrastructure as Code

  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, and composite actions.

  • Configure, scale, secure, and maintain GitHub-hosted and self-hosted runners.

  • Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Packer and ARM Templates.

  • Integrate GitHub Actions with Azure services and AKS deployments.

  • Implement blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies.

  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

5. DevSecOps, Monitoring & Reliability

  • Integrate security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus, and Grafana.

  • Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, IAM, GitHub, and deployment issues.

  • Support production incident management, root-cause analysis, and platform reliability improvements.

  • Develop technical documentation, operational runbooks, and engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

  • 7+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

  • 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes administration.

  • Expertise in Azure services, including Functions, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, App Services, Key Vault, and Networking.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Service Principals, Conditional Access, and PIM.

  • Proven experience administering GitHub Enterprise, including organizations, repositories, access controls, and governance policies.

  • Strong expertise in GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, reusable workflows, and self-hosted runners.

  • Experience with GitHub Apps, OAuth, OIDC, and secure workload authentication.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Packer and ARM Templates.

  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar automation scripting languages.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, DevSecOps, container security, and enterprise governance.

  • Experience with logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Azure Certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400).

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

  • GitHub Actions Certification.

  • Experience with GitOps, Azure Landing Zones, and enterprise cloud governance.

  • Experience supporting large-scale GitHub Enterprise environments.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and developer self-service platforms.

  • Prior experience in financial services, banking, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

Ideal Candidate

A senior hands-on engineer with proven expertise across Azure Cloud, AKS, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, IAM, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevSecOps who can independently manage enterprise cloud platforms and improve developer productivity, deployment security, and operational reliability.
