Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced RF Electrical Engineer with strong Microwave (MW) expertise to design, plan, and optimize wireless systems and MW backhaul networks across utility, industrial, and government environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform link budget calculations, reliability analysis, and path feasibility studies
  • Design and optimize Microwave (MW) links using Pathloss 6
  • Conduct LOS/path surveys, obstacle analysis, and field validation
  • Optimize MW networks for capacity, availability, and interference mitigation
  • Work with MW platforms such as Nokia, Aviat, Ericsson
  • Design and optimize wireless networks using Infovista Planet (LTE/5G, Narrowband, LMR)
  • Create BOMs, installation drawings, and cost estimates
  • Support end-to-end wireless deployment lifecycle
  • Act as SME for MW backhaul and RF engineering

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in RF Design & Microwave (MW) Transport Systems
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Pathloss 6
    • Infovista Planet
  • Experience with LTE/5G, LMR, Narrowband systems
  • Knowledge of fading analysis, interference mitigation, RF optimization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of RF/Wireless engineering experience
  • Utility industry experience (Preferred)
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills

  • Travel: 0–25% (within the U.S.)
