Low Voltage Technician

Seeking a hands-on, detail -oriented vehicle upfitter technician. Who has a strong understanding of basic electrical systems, operations, light fabrication and quality installations. This role involves installing equipment, integrating wiring harnesses, fitting of interior/exterior components, insuring meets or exceeds high standards of the quality process.
Key Responsibilities

• Install and Integrate emergency lighting, sirens, radios, and electrical control systems.
• Read, interpret and follow electrical diagrams, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Perform basic 12V electrical diagnoses and wiring proper techniques.
• Ensure proper routing and securing electrical components to structure of vehicle.
• Conduct light fabrication and fitment for bumpers, cages, partitions and interior components.
• Install all required components and accessories per the build sheet on each project.
• Perform Quality checks, and functional testing on completed vehicles before signing off.
• Work in collaborative Team System to assure deadlines are met and QC standards are guaranteed.

Qualifications and Required Skills
Working knowledge and operation of trucks, cars, automotive components.
 Solid understanding of 12V automotive electrical circuits, wiring, and low-voltage components.
Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics.
Experience shop tools, power tools, and general shop equipment.
Team attitude, learn new skills quickly, follow written and verbal direction.
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds while working in tight or awkward vehicle spaces.
