Job Description

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Coffman Engineers, you'll be part of a collaborative, creative, and high-performing team that believes in making a difference for our clients and our communities. Our growing Portland office is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with approximately fifteen years of experience in the consulting engineering field, who is passionate about their craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. The desired individual should be comfortable consulting to architects, owners, and general contractors, and have a desire to work as part of a multidiscipline engineering team. We value self-motivated individuals with an enthusiastic mindset, an interest in working on diverse projects, and attention to detail to deliver quality engineering services.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related engineering field required.
• PE registration required.
• Minimum of 15+ years of professional experience preferred.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and depth of competence, serving as a trusted technical resource within the local office and across the firm.
• Exceptional expertise in a primary engineering discipline.
• Broad working knowledge across multiple areas of engineering practice.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a cooperative, multidisciplinary office environment.
• Capable of managing a significant volume of technically complex work while coordinating effectively with project teams.
• Demonstrates strong professional judgment, initiative, and influence through technical expertise.
