Ideal/Datacom Developer with .Net

Job title: Ideal/Datacom Developer with .Net Duration: 6 months+ contract Location: 100% Remote

Experience must have:
5+ years of hands-on experience with CA IDEAL and CA Datacom in mainframe environments.
Proven expertise in developing, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale enterprise applications using ideal/Datacom
Strong coding and testing experience in IDEAL/DATACOM and COBOL/CICS/DTACOM combinations.
Experience in production support and maintenance.
Experience with JCL, CICS, COBOL, VSAM, and batch processing in a mainframe environment.
Knowledge of Datacom QDRY and DB utilities, along with performance tuning expertise.
Experience in mainframe testing tools, version controllers and job schedulers, such as Xpeditor, Endevor, Control-M etc.
Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
Ability to resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders, technical teams, and non-technical users.
Looking for Hands on .Net experience.

Preferred:
Experience with modernization of legacy systems, including migrations or integrations with more modern platforms.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
