We are a Top ENR heavy civil contractor seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects across transportation, industrial, and energy sectors.

Job DetailsThis is not a small-project environment- you'll be involved in high-impact infrastructure work that requires coordination, planning, and execution at scale. Advancement is based on performance and contribution, not tenure.
You'll gain exposure to a wide range of projects, including:
- DOT highway and bridge construction
- Design-build and progressive design-build delivery
- Industrial, mining, and energy infrastructure
- Large-scale civil site development
Work alongside teams that self-perform critical scopes, providing deeper exposure to:
- grading and earthwork
- structures
- utilities
- civil site development
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout on heavy civil projects
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Track quantities, production, and costs to ensure alignment with project budgets and schedules
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, including scope, performance, and cost tracking
- Participate in project meetings with owners, engineers, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with scheduling, procurement, and project controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or related infrastructure projects
- Experience working on DOT, transportation, utilities, water, mining, or site development projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, and field operations
- Experience with design-build projects is preferred
