We have been retained by our financial related client in Fort Worth, Texas to deliver a .NET full-stack Developer on a regular full-time direct hire basis. This position is hybrid with three (3) days a week onsite offices in Fort Worth, Texas and two (2) days a week remote work.
REQUIRED:
Basically we are seeking the best candidate with C#/.NET and SQL skills for about $95K to $135K per year, annual salary. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN: C#, JavaScript, TSQL, (Azure or AWS), some basic query optimization on any SQL.
3-4+ years work experience in C# / .NET
C# strengths, full stack and C# REST API s or C# services for REST API s.
full stack C# is the key to this position. Full stack skills required.
SQL Server TSQL. Some basic query optimization, RDBMS and C# code optimization, stabilization and scalability. Some Object Relational Mapping skills ORM, Dapper, or LINQ, Work with data structures, ETL processes and integrations. Full stack .NET, TSQL, C# REST API s, .NET app development, query optimizations. Angular or React a plus. AWS is a plus. Some cloud experience required. Power BI a plus.
Some Financial or Accounting industry related experience required. An analytical mindset and keen eye for detail with the goal of writing clean code to produce fully functional software applications according to business requirements. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders in this financial reporting environment that has monthly reporting goals, and gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and specifications. Apps, services and jobs running on jobs management utility - on call rotation to support jobs running, where it s most often as simple as restart app, or restart services. C#, full stack, SQL RDBMS, TSQL, javascript, query optimization on SQL and some (Azure or AWS) cloud skills required.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE (all are used on this team):
Strong experience with .NET / C#, currently on .NET 6.0 with a roadmap to .NET 8.0. All development is C#-based, including REST APIs, MVC applications, and integration projects. SQL Server RDBMS hosted on AWS, with solid TSQL skills and use of ORM tools such as Dapper or similar object-relational mapping frameworks.
Hands-on experience with AWS environments including EC2, API Gateway, S3, SQS, and related services. Applications are built, tested, and deployed using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, with XUnit for unit testing and Cypress for test automation. Git repositories are used extensively, including sub-modules, NuGet package management, and extending application or API templates.
Familiarity with cloud scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or Python is helpful. Exposure to authentication and integration tools such as OKTA is preferred. RedGate Flyway is used for SQL Server schema-as-code and database deployments.
Front-end experience with React is a plus. Some exposure to Power BI dashboards is beneficial but not required. MS Office integration experience, including Excel exports and automated reporting, is useful. Full Stack .NET development with SQL Server backend, RDBMS & .NET apps are hosted on AWS / Amazon cloud, however requirements, code, bug tracking, CI CD is Azure DevOps.
Experience supporting accounting and financial systems, including monthly financial reporting for investments and loans. Involvement in automating back-office processes, validating calculations, and modernizing Excel-based workflows into .NET applications. Participation in an on-call rotation to monitor and support application services and database jobs, particularly during month-end and beginning-of-month reporting cycles.
Accounting, monthly financial reporting of investments, loans, work with business users on monthly financial statements and financial reporting needs. Back Office processes automated, exports of excel files. Excel modules feature redesigned into .NET systems, calculations verified, monthly reporting. Some oncall support of app or database jobs that stopped running. Monitor Jobs running, and provide support via on-call rotation with the team. Restart service or app or job running. The last week of the month, and the first week of the month can experience a faster pace or heavier work load if systems issues are present needing attention.
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science preferred.
