Lead DevOps Engineer / Cloud Solution Architect – Google Cloud Platform
Location: Raritan, NJ | Type: Full-Time | Experience: 12+ Years
Looking for a hands-on Cloud Solution Architect / Lead DevOps Engineer with deep Google Cloud Platform expertise to design, build, and support secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Important: This is a hands-on technical leadership role—candidate must be capable of designing and personally implementing/troubleshooting solutions, not purely architecture/governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Google Cloud Platform cloud architecture, DevOps, and platform engineering initiatives.
- Design and implement Google Cloud Platform networking, IAM, security, landing zones, and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataproc, and Dataform.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, GitOps, and Terraform.
- Develop automation using Python and Bash.
- Support Generative AI / Vertex AI / Gemini platforms.
- Implement monitoring, observability, disaster recovery, and reliability solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership/mentoring.
- Collaborate with Application, Data, Security, AI/ML, Architecture, and Operations teams.
Required Skills:
12+ years DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineering, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes/GKE, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Python, Bash, IAM, Shared VPC, Private Service Connect, CI/CD, Cloud Security, Networking, Observability.
Preferred: AWS, Vertex AI, Gemini, Azure, Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect certification, Kubernetes certifications.
