Job Title: Servicenow SME (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, Integrations)
Location: Remote
Contract : 3 Months with high possibility for extension
Must Have:
- ServiceNow certified system administrator
- ServiceNow SME in CMDB, CSDM, ITOM, ITSM, Integrations
Nice to Have
- Certified ITOM Implementation Specialist - ServiceNow (CIS-ITOM)
- Certified Application Developer - ServiceNow (CAD)
- Experience working with Government / DoD or in the Energy sector.
Initial key focus areas in which the DT Services team expects to support during this program are listed below.
ServiceNow CMDB Health
o Analyze the CMDB/AMDB, document findings and improvement opportunities
o Document recommendations in agile story format as input to Customer backlog
o Support remediation activities in alignment with best practices
Forescout integration
o Prepare ServiceNow CMDB/AMDB for integration with Forescout eyeExtend module
o Install, Forescout eyeExtend and configure to continuously maintain the CMDB/AMDB
Client Device Order Management
o Assess and remediate as needed the current state of the ServiceNow ITSM module to ensure system prerequisites are fit for purpose
o Implement the client device order components (request form, catalog) and workflow for approval and CMDB/AMDB reconciliation
Assume advisory role to the Dell project team as a ServiceNow SME in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, Integrations
o Provides overall leadership to bridge the gap between business requirements and technological capabilities, ensuring that ServiceNow solutions align with the program objectives
o Provide technical leadership to agile team ensuring the scalability, flexibility, consistency, and security of the technical solution
o Provide direction and oversight on all implementation phases ensuring alignment of business requirements to the technical solution
o Customize system components (workflows, scripts, interfaces and integrations)
o Identify and resolve technical issues, educating and mentoring junior team members and
o Performs knowledge transfer to platform team for the custom solution
o Facilitates workshops to ensure the target solution aligns with ServiceNow processes, features and business outcomes
o Assists the project team in translating application functionality into application architecture and the production of business functionality requirements objectives
o Assists in breaking down documented requirements into epics and decomposing them into user stories and acceptance criteria
