RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and own the technical architecture for procurement platforms, with an immediate focus on P2P (Procure-to-Pay) systems.
• Design integration patterns between procurement tools (like Birch Street) and core ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
• Provide technical governance during solution delivery to ensure adherence to the approved architecture.
• Lead the evaluation of build vs. buy decisions and the selection of new technology and vendors.
• Design procurement data models, KPIs, and reporting frameworks (spend analytics, supplier scorecards).
• Drive the adoption of data governance and master data management (MDM) practices.
• Review and approve detailed design documents, data models, and API specifications.
• Develop reference architectures, solution blueprints, and technical roadmaps aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, and IT leadership to capture requirements and define the solution scope.

This is a 6-month contract with a possibility to extend or convert to direct-hire. Work a hybrid schedule in Atlanta, 3 days in office.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 10+ years of overall experience in an enterprise environment
• 5+ years of experience as a SME in a procurement business function
• Procurement Domain Knowledge (S2P, P2P, S2C)
• ERP Integration experience (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Workday)
• Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
• API Design & Integration (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, EDI)
• Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Platforms
• Source-to-Pay Platforms (Coupa, Ariba, Jaggaer, Ivalua)
• Data Modeling & Architecture
• Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture
• Security & Compliance (SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001)
• Solution Design Documentation (C4, UML, ArchiMate)
• Agile / SAFe Delivery Methodologies
