Job Title: Learning Management System (LMS) Course Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Learning Management System (LMS) Course Specialist to support the development, administration, and sustainment of online training environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LMS platforms, course development, and community engagement, along with the ability to work within secure and classified environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and sustain LMS-based training courses and online learning environments.

• Administer LMS courses, including user management, course deployment, and performance tracking.

• Manage and maintain LMS content, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with standards.

• Support and enhance community engagement within LMS platforms.

• Develop and sustain online training sites aligned with organizational requirements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective learning solutions.

• Support classified training site development as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in each of the following:

  • LMS course development

  • LMS course administration

  • LMS content management

  • LMS community engagement

  • Online training site development and sustainment

• Experience working with Army Distributed Learning Systems.

• Active SECRET clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).

• Valid IAT Level II / Security+ certification.

• Relevant Computing Environment certification for elevated network access.

Required Certifications (to be completed within 30 days of contract award):

• Army Blackboard 101: Instructors Basic Training (10 hours)

• Army Blackboard 201: Exemplary Course Design Training (14 hours)

• Army Blackboard 301: Domain Administrator Training (4 hours)

• Blackboard Institutional Hierarchy Training (3 hours)

• Blackboard LCMS Interface to ATRRS Training (2 hours)

• Blackboard Certificate Management Tool Training (2 hours)

Additional Information:

• Blackboard is the current LMS platform; candidates must be adaptable to other LMS systems as required.

• All required Blackboard training will be provided at no cost and must be completed within the specified timeline.

• The role may require working in secure environments supporting classified training initiatives.
