Position: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 10900 NE 4th Street, Floor 8, Bellevue, WA 98004
Duties: Develop, test, and deploy REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and PHP. Create queries and optimize database load using SQL and Hibernate library. Design application architecture and end-to-end migration of software components. Debug and manage deployment pipelines. Design unit tests, load tests, and integration tests using Java and JavaScript to work across different environments. Design applications using Message brokers such as Kafka and Pub/Sub in Java Spring Boot environment. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues across various teams. Collaborate with other scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner-Ops, while working closely with cross-functional project development teams.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
Skills required: Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using Java. Experience with database query creation and load optimization using SQL and Hibernate. Experience designing applications and system architecture for software components. Experience with cloud computing and leveraging cloud technologies. Experience designing unit tests, load tests, and integration tests. Experience designing and managing queues and pub/sub architectures. Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline framework. Experience with distributed version control system Git. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization technology. Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodology. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $149,240/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
