Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled C# Developer with 4–5 years of hands-on software development experience to join our engineering team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, and object-oriented programming.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while working closely with business analysts, QA engineers, architects, and other development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs and Web Services using ASP.NET Core/Web API.
- Build and maintain enterprise applications using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Develop database-driven applications using SQL Server.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Work with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core for database integration.
- Participate in application design, development, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production problems.
- Develop reusable and maintainable code following SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Integrate applications with internal and external APIs and third-party services.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work with Git-based source control and follow established branching and code-review practices.
- Prepare technical documentation related to application design, development, and support.
Required Technical Skills
- 4–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#.
- Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Experience developing REST APIs / Web APIs.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Unit Testing using frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
