The Application Analyst supports enterprise applications from design and development through release and optimization. This role ensures that applications transition through established SDLC stages smoothly while collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining documentation, tracking progress, ensuring compliance, and generating actionable insights.
Success in this position requires a detail-focused individual who can partner closely with product owners, technical resources, and various business stakeholders. The analyst will execute established processes while also identifying opportunities to improve, streamline, or mature lifecycle programs.

Position Overview
The Application Analyst supports enterprise applications from design and development through release and optimization. This role ensures that applications transition through established SDLC stages smoothly while collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining documentation, tracking progress, ensuring compliance, and generating actionable insights.
Success in this position requires a detail-focused individual who can partner closely with product owners, technical resources, and various business stakeholders. The analyst will execute established processes while also identifying opportunities to improve, streamline, or mature lifecycle programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support planning, onboarding, maintenance, and retirement activities for applications by coordinating work across application owners and technical teams. Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint is preferred.
- Maintain accurate lifecycle documentation, including stage changes, decisions, risks, and related records. Produce reports that are clear, consistent, and useful to stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison across IT, business units, and end users. Ensure alignment and clarity throughout lifecycle transitions and program initiatives.
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and actions using project management tools. Provide ongoing updates to ensure transparency and visibility.
- Review performance, usage, and support data for enterprise applications. Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for program or application improvement.
- Support change adoption activities such as communications, training coordination, and readiness assessments.
- Ensure lifecycle processes align with internal controls, security standards, and regulatory frameworks. A broad understanding of COBIT is preferred.
Requirements Include:
- Prior experience in application lifecycle management, IT delivery, or change enablement.
- Experience working in a PMO or IT operations environment with cross-functional teams.
- Extremely strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with proactive problem-solving.
- Proficiency with ALM tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, and creating process maps.
- Ability to analyze, optimize, and automate lifecycle processes.
- Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, or comparable IT service management frameworks.
- Experience with change management practices and tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for reporting, analysis, or workflow automation and/or general awareness of emerging AI capabilities and how to leverage them for improved insights or efficiencies.
