Pay: $30-$35/hr + Overtime (1.5x)
Schedule: M-F (8AM-5PM) + Extended Hours During Turn-Ups

OverviewWe are seeking a
detail-oriented Audit Network Technician to support
network validation, auditing, and troubleshooting across large-scale data center environments.
This role is critical to ensuring that
network infrastructure aligns with design specifications, is fully operational, and meets SLA requirements before and after site go-live. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians who want to grow beyond installations into
higher-level network validation and troubleshooting work.
What You'll Be Doing- Perform Engineering Design Package (EDP) interpretation and validation
- Trace and verify network circuits end-to-end
- Create and update network diagrams, circuit maps, and documentation
- Conduct network audits to ensure infrastructure accuracy and readiness
- Troubleshoot across Layer 1-3 (physical, configuration, and network layers)
- Validate inventory, connectivity, and labeling accuracy
- Identify discrepancies and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues
- Document findings and provide clear audit reports and recommendations
What We're Looking ForRequired:- 2-5+ years of experience in networking, telecom, or data center environments
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (Layer 1-3)
- Experience with circuit tracing, connectivity testing, or network validation
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience troubleshooting fiber and/or copper infrastructure
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Preferred (Nice to Have):- Experience in data centers, telecom, or ISP environments
- Knowledge of EDPs (Engineering Design Packages)
- Experience with network diagram tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
- Familiarity with network audit tools or GIS systems
- Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or OSHA 10
Travel & Project Details- Initial assignment in Columbus, OH (5-6 months)
- Future travel to sites including:
- Dallas, TX | Memphis, TN | Salt Lake City, UT | Montgomery, AL | Los Angeles, CA
- Travel expenses fully covered (flights, rental car, etc.)
- Housing provided (Airbnb or extended-stay hotels)
- Option to fly home once per month
Schedule- Standard hours: Monday - Friday (8AM - 5PM)
- Rotating on-call schedule
- During site turn-ups:
- Up to 10-hour days
- 6 days/week
