Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Automation Tester with hands-on experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to automation frameworks and tools, with a good understanding of software testing principles. This role does not require deep expertise but expects the candidate to be capable of contributing effectively to automation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
- Work closely with developers, QA team, and business analysts to understand requirements.
- Identify test scenarios and convert them into automated test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Analyze test results and report defects clearly.
- Participate in test planning, test design, and review meetings.
- Support manual testing activities when required.
- Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks.
Required Skills:
- Basic to intermediate experience in automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Understanding of software testing concepts (STLC, SDLC).
- Experience with test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
- Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST APIs).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
