  • Managing Azure data platform components including ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, Azure Active Directory integrations, networking, and platform security.
  • Supporting our SQL Server enterprise data warehouse during a planned migration to Databricks, helping ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
  • Partnering closely with data engineering, analytics, governance, and business teams to improve platform capabilities and remove technical barriers.
  • Driving platform optimization initiatives focused on cost management, observability, automation, documentation, and continuous improvement.

You'll Be Successful With
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform engineering, database administration, or related infrastructure-focused roles.
  • Hands-on experience administering Databricks and cloud-based data platforms in a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services including ADLS, Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, networking, and security controls.
  • Experience balancing platform reliability, governance, performance, and cost optimization across enterprise-scale environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and data warehouse environments.
  • An ownership mindset with the ability to proactively solve problems, influence stakeholders, and serve as a trusted technical advisor across teams.

Preferred Experience
  • Databricks and/or Azure certifications.
  • Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives from on-premises data warehouses.
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and modern data architecture patterns.
  • Experience with Alteryx Server administration.
  • Exposure to retail, merchandising, supply chain, or enterprise analytics environments.
