Job Title: Salesforce Application Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ – Onsite

Duration: 6+ months Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Application Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions aligned with agency and state requirements. This role will collaborate closely with business analysts, functional users, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications across platforms including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle
Perform deep-dive analysis and reverse engineering of existing code to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into technical solutions
Participate in full SDLC: planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of applications
Ensure applications comply with evolving technology standards, regulations, and agency requirements
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and system designs
Support and maintain application development and testing environments
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and optimized solutions

Required Experience

7+ years of overall development experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 3+ years as a Lead Developer on Salesforce implementations
Strong experience working in Agile environments with version control practices
Proven experience in system analysis, refactoring, and redesign for optimization

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Salesforce Development, Configuration, and Administration
Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
Proficiency in building and consuming APIs
Advanced experience with MuleSoft integrations
Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)

Nice to Have

Experience working with government or public sector projects
Familiarity with compliance-driven environments
