Description:
Seeking a Staff Network Architect and Lead Aruba ClearPass Implementation Engineer to design, build, and deploy an enterprise-wide Network Access Control (NAC) platform to establish a standardized Policy Manager architecture for both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. The position requires technical architecture leadership and hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy high-availability ClearPass Publisher/Subscriber clusters, including virtual node sizing, RADIUS failover, and Splunk SIEM integration.
- Configure 802.1X (EAP-TLS), MAB, endpoint profiling, guest access, and dynamic RADIUS Change of Authorization (CoA).
- Implement ClearPass OnGuard posture checks and remediation workflows for managed endpoints.
- Integrate identity, health, and context sources (Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM) into Policy Manager rulesets.
- Deploy non-disruptive OT NAC frameworks to secure industrial endpoints (PLCs, HMIs, engineering workstations).
- Establish formal exception governance, temporary bypass workflows, and quarantine procedures.
- Align enterprise PKI and device onboarding workflows with ClearPass capabilities.
- Calculate detailed work-breakdown hour estimates, resource mix, and timelines for architecture, pilot, and multi-site production rollouts.
- Build standardized site migration templates, as-built documentation, and Day-2 operational runbooks.
- Deliver hands-on knowledge transfer for Network, Security, and OT operations teams.
Qualifications:
- Deep technical expertise with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM), OnGuard, OnBoard, and profiling engines.
- Strong experience with Cisco wired switching, Cisco WLAN controllers, and Aruba WLAN controllers.
- Proficiency in 802.1X, EAP-TLS, PKI certificate lifecycles, RADIUS, and Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience integrating endpoint context from Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM.
- Experience securing industrial network architectures (OT/ICS) in manufacturing or critical infrastructure environments.
- Proven ability to scope enterprise projects, build work breakdown structures, and deliver accurate engineering effort estimations.
