About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically-minded Project Manager to lead our Factory Solutions projects within the Production Engineering domain. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a blend of high-level strategic planning and "boots-on-the-ground" troubleshooting. You will act as the primary bridge between our engineering team, vendors, and customers to deliver high-value manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage commercial and technical activities to ensure projects stay on budget, on time, and meet quality standards.

  • Technical Execution: Perform and deliver tasks related to production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment diagnosis.

  • Client & Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing expectations and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Process Improvement: Proactively propose engineering solutions and business process designs for equipment maintenance (AM/PM).

  • Reporting: Create detailed technical reports and status updates using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

<>Required Skills & Experience
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing or production engineering.

  • Language: Must be Bi-lingual in English and Japanese (Native or Fluent N1).

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis, 4M breakdown analysis, and "3 Reality Principle" investigations.

  • Equipment Diagnosis: Ability to establish data-driven diagnosis logic using sensor and quality data.

  • Maintenance Design: Experience designing business processes for autonomous and preventive maintenance.

  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work in a multi-national team without micro-level oversight.

<>Preferred Skills
  • Experience with OEM or Tier 1 automotive suppliers (ideally Japanese customers).

  • Hands-on experience with shop floor tools (power tools, lathes, welding, calipers, etc.).

  • Ability to identify process bottlenecks and clarify KPIs from factory goals.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Benefits & Perks

  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans.

  • 401k matching (up to 5%).

  • Customized career development roadmap and potential tuition reimbursement.

  • Company vehicle provided for customer visits and project support.

  • Retention of all travel reward program points (airline, hotel, etc.).
