Hiring: PACS Administrator / Site Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced PACS Administrator / Site Coordinator to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of PACS, RIS, and radiology imaging systems while ensuring seamless integration with clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain PACS and RIS systems.

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot radiology imaging and workflow issues.

• Ensure efficient archiving, retrieval, and distribution of medical images and reports.

• Monitor system performance, backups, upgrades, and disaster recovery processes.

• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, clinicians, and IT teams to optimize workflows.

• Support integration with EMR/EHR, HIS, and imaging modalities including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and X-Ray.

• Coordinate vendor activities, system upgrades, patches, and service requests.

• Conduct user training and provide ongoing system support.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of PACS/RIS administration experience in a hospital or clinical environment.

• Strong understanding of DICOM, HL7, and IHE standards.

• Experience with PACS solutions such as Intelerad, Merge PACS, Visage, Fuji Synapse, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of Fuji EIS & RIS, MedInformatix, SCI, Royal Solutions, or related systems.

• Experience with modality integration and radiology workflows.

• Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional)

• PACS/RIS Vendor Certifications

• ITIL or other Healthcare IT Certifications
