Summary

Position: Microsoft Fabric Architect
Location: Raritan, NJ Onsite/Hybrid
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Experience: 13+ years

Main Skills: Azure, Azure data bricks, MS Fabric, Spark, SQL, Python/Scala, KQL, ETL/ELT, Delta/Parquet, data lakes/warehouses and data modeling

Key Requirements:

12+ years of experience designing enterprise data platforms
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
Expertise in OneLake, Data Integration, Data Engineering/Spark, Data Science, and Power BI
Strong Spark, SQL, Python/Scala, KQL, and data modeling experience
Experience with ETL/ELT, Delta/Parquet, data lakes/warehouses, and large-scale data platforms
Strong knowledge of data governance, RBAC, security, lineage, cataloging, and compliance
Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code using Git, Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or equivalent
Experience migrating legacy/on-prem or cloud data platforms to modern data platforms
Knowledge of Azure services such as ADF, Synapse, Azure Storage, Key Vault, Azure AD, Service Principals, and Managed Identities
Experience with real-time/streaming technologies such as Kafka, Event Hubs, or Spark Streaming is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders
