As an Distribution Engineer you will:

Job Description:

Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group and provides best practicing sharing within group. Responsible for providing analysis and project management support for the Distribution organization. Measuring, reporting and interpreting performance of Distribution operations. Identifying improvement opportunities, supporting the growth and development of the distribution network.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Identify, quantify and communicate opportunities for improvement on the Distribution network.
  • Coordinate and manage the implementation of improvements. Establish best practices across the Distribution network.
  • Maintain documentation of best practices and administer their execution.
  • Establish and maintain engineered labor standards across the Distribution network based on best practices.
  • Establish and maintain a performance incentive program based on engineered labor standards.
  • Provide support and communication between the store support group and Distribution Centers.
  • Bring cross-functional teams together to collaborate on projects and achieve project milestones.
  • Provide functional support for the Warehouse Management System, including Labor Management, Slotting and Reporting.


Assist DC personnel in resolving related systemic and/or operational issues. Measure, interpret and report on the performance of Distribution operations. Provide interpretation and recommendations to the DC management teams. Build staffing planning models to aid in DC management and Distribution network planning. Assist in determining metrics to guide Supply Chain management.

This is a Full time, Contract opportunity.
Work Schedule: Mon to Fri- Onsite
Expected Duration: 3 months Contract with possibilities of getting extension.

General process design, Distribution network experience.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Logistics management experience

Education:

A Bachelor\'s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and Mechanical would be a great fit

Pay Rate: $29.00 - $33.34 per hour
