We are seeking experienced Medical Technologists specializing in Hematology to join a leading healthcare laboratory team in DeLand, FL. This role requires performing complex laboratory testing, ensuring quality and compliance standards, maintaining laboratory instrumentation, and supporting workflow efficiency with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform advanced hematology laboratory testing and analysis
• Report accurate test results and ensure specimen quality
• Train and mentor laboratory team members
• Support competency assessments and process improvements
• Assist with laboratory inspections, workflow monitoring, and inventory management
• Participate in evaluation of testing methodologies and laboratory equipment
• Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor''s Degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or related field
Current Florida Technologist License (Hematology or Multi-Specialty)
ASCP, AMT, or equivalent laboratory certification
2–6 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred
6+ years of experience required for independent practice
Strong hematology testing and instrumentation experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory information systems
