Description:
Hybrid Onsite 5 days/week, alternating weeks in either Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX

The systems analyst will serve as a core member of an agile squad, partnering with delivery leads, engineers, and QA to gather and document business requirements, analyze current-state systems, and define technology solutions. The role will focus on documenting interfaces and workflows, shaping user stories, and supporting testing and production triage across the product lifecycle. The analyst will collaborate across business and IT groups to enable scalable, modern solutions for the organization's insurance technology initiatives.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Understand software development lifecycles and methodologies.
  • Examine inter-dependencies between systems.
  • Conduct requirements analysis and create proposals for modifications, upgrades, or replacements to systems.
  • Participate in the design of new computer systems and applications.
  • Document requirements through analysis of existing business models, use cases, workflow analysis, and documents.
  • Understand and document interfaces between systems.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Use agile methodologies to achieve requirements.
  • Use requirements analysis information to make recommendations to system functionality and create stories to execute recommendations.
  • Support the implementation and operations of systems.
  • Provide support to business and technical partners throughout all testing phases, including triaging system defects in production and non-production environments.
  • Consult with internal and external clients to present proposals as needed.
  • Work within the team to ensure committed deliverables adhere to the established schedule.

Experience Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a technical systems analyst within agile teams.
  • Hands-on experience with data migration or cloud migration.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture.
  • Experience designing APIs from scratch, including specification and integration considerations.
  • Background collaborating with QA on test case preparation and defect triage.
  • Skilled in documenting business processes, use cases, and system interfaces.
  • Ability to analyze cross-system dependencies and propose solution options.
