Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Node.js Developer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building microservices, developing RESTful APIs, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and supporting production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Build and enhance cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
Implement and manage cloud services including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Secret Manager.
Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure high performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment.
Monitor application performance using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot critical production issues, perform incident management, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

Required Skills

10+ years of software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS.
Experience with Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Secret Manager.
Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Expertise in developing REST APIs and Microservices.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
Familiarity with Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
Experience providing L2/L3 Production Support, Incident Management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
Strong understanding of cloud security and DevOps best practices.
Experience working with distributed and highly available systems.
Previous experience working with remote, globally distributed teams.
