Position Summary

We are seeking a ServiceNow to define, design, and lead the end-to-end technical architecture of the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures the platform is scalable, secure, upgrade-ready, and aligned with enterprise standards while maximizing business value. The architect will act as a thought leader and SME, partnering with stakeholders, enterprise architects, developers, and process owners across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Design

  • Design and maintain scalable, secure, high-performing ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and ServiceNow best practices
  • Define and document architecture blueprints, integration patterns, data models, and platform guardrails
  • Ensure alignment with ServiceNow implementation framework and OOTB-first approach

Technical Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead technical design and implementation for ITSM, ITOM, CSM, FSM, SPM, HRSD, HAM, SAM, and SecOps
  • Provide hands-on architectural guidance and mentor developers, admins, and configuration specialists
  • Ensure solutions are maintainable, reusable, and upgrade-friendly

Governance & Platform Management

  • Establish and enforce platform standards, naming conventions, smart customization strategies, and environment governance
  • Oversee platform health including performance, upgrades, security, and compliance
  • Manage and optimize ServiceNow license usage, ensuring cost-effective adoption and vendor compliance

Stakeholder Collaboration & Advisory

  • Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Act as ServiceNow SME for roadmap planning and architectural decisions
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, integration teams, ServiceNow partners, and vendors

Integration & Data Architecture

  • Design and oversee integrations using MID Server, REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and data pipelines
  • Govern CMDB accuracy and compliance with CSDM, enabling reliable service mapping and reporting
  • Ensure integrity of foundation data (users, groups, locations, org structures)
  • Guide data migration, reconciliation, and federation strategies

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–10+ years of ServiceNow experience across architecture and development
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • ITSM, ITOM, CSM, FSM, SPM, HRSD, HAM, SAM, SecOps
    • ServiceNow Platform Architecture & Design
    • CMDB, CSDM, Service Mapping
    • MID Server, REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub
    • Governance, Smart Customization, Upgrade Strategy
  • Proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions
  • Experience mentoring teams and leading technical design reviews
  • Healthcare industry experience – Required
  • Strong stakeholder communication and advisory skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certifications:
    • CSA (Certified System Administrator)
    • CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist)
    • CTA (Certified Technical Architect)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
