Quality Assurance Lead

Location: Pittsburgh PA or Dallas TX
Type: W2 contract
Schedule: 8am-4pm M-F, 5x onsite
Rate: $60/hr

Overview

Lead quality engineering and testing for data-driven regulatory reporting applications. Validate data accuracy and completeness across source-to-target data flows and reports. Design and execute test strategies covering functional, regression, and data reconciliation testing. Partner with technology and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

Lead quality engineering and testing for data-driven regulatory reporting applications.
Validate data accuracy and completeness across source-to-target data flows and reports.
Design and execute test strategies covering functional, regression, and data reconciliation testing.
Partner with technology and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
Oversee test execution, defect analysis, and root-cause identification.
Own testing documentation including scope, strategy, execution results, and delivery artifacts.

Required Skills

5–8 years of experience in data and report testing, preferably within regulatory or risk platforms.
Strong expertise in SQL and data validation techniques.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and lifecycle.
Intermediate proficiency in data analysis.
Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
Proven debugging skills to identify and resolve data or system issues.
Experience managing and maintaining testing deliverables and documentation.
Extensive experience in data-centric testing environments.
