Job Description
We are seeking an Internal Cloud Hyperconverged Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Terraform, Ansible, Linux, and CI/CD and a proven ability to design and deliver automated, repeatable workflows that provision, configure, validate, and lifecycle-manage HCI stack components and related platform layers.
Responsibilities:
- Engineer automation that builds, configures, and lifecycle-manages Internal Cloud HCI stack components.
- Own Infrastructure-as-Code standards, reusable automation patterns, and delivery practices for HCI provisioning and updates.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks to expand automation coverage across provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable controlled, consistent, and auditable delivery.
- Collaborate with virtualization and platform teams to support full HCI stack automation, including hosting platforms such as Tanzu and OpenShift and network fabric configuration references such as Agora.
- Reduce manual effort and operational risk by implementing standardized, repeatable workflows and validations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 to 5 years of experience engineering infrastructure automation in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux and scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with virtualization or hyperconverged infrastructure concepts and automation for repeatable platform delivery.
Preferred Skills:
- 5 to 7+ years delivering automation for cloud or virtualization platforms and infrastructure build pipelines.
- Terraform certification (Associate or Professional) or equivalent automation engineering training.
- Experience automating deployment and configuration for platform layers on HCI such as Tanzu or OpenShift and network fabric configuration dependencies.
- Experience in regulated environments with disciplined change, release, and production readiness processes.
