A life insurance tech startup is building out a fully digital platform that's powered by LLM copilots for underwriting, customer support, operations, agent enablement, and fraud detection. They've deployed Claude-based tools across the entire internal organization and are looking to continue adopting and integrating AI tools across the entire stack. AI isn't an afterthought, it's the foundation of what they're building.
They're hiring an AI Security Engineer to evaluate and research vendor security models and act as the AI checkpoint. You'll also build controls in addition to Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and MCP servers that are already deployed. You'll be the person who determines what guardrails need to look like. And conduct active red team responsibilities. You'll be responsible for breaking into their own AI systems, testing whether agents can be manipulated.
If you're looking for your next challenge, where you can wear multiple hats, take your own initiative, and work in a fast-paced startup environment, this is it!
Candidates must be at the forefront of AI security research and have hands on security engineering experience. They're looking for hungry and driven engineers, who have an attacker mindset, and have a deep familiarity with the Claude ecosystem. And most of all, you have to have a startup mentality and a willingness to work without a playbook.
This role is 100% Remote.
This is a 6 month contract to hire position.
