Summary

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Candidate must work onsite. Some telecommuting allowed.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

The DevOps Integration Engineer - Submarine Combat Systems, will be responsible for integration of software components into the Linux-based Common Computing Environment (CCE) PaaS. The candidate will also be responsible for improving the software build process along with setup and configuration of hardware/software test environments.

Essential Capabilities (Required):
  • Experience integrating containerized software applications in Kubernetes or another container runtime such as Docker Swarm.
  • Skilled in development of bash and python scripts to automate installation, test, and monitoring of software components
  • Advanced troubleshooting techniques for isolation of software problems
  • Experience with integration testing for deploying and managing custom containerized applications and open-source tools and components.

Desired Capabilities:
  • Experience with Ansible infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience with Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Red Hat System Administrator/Engineer certification.
