Role: Technology: Data & Platform Delivery Managers

Position 1 Data Products: High senior level +Agile ; working with DP space large project going on. Will be between higher level program team and development team. Dev team will scale between workload 6-10 people scaling up to 30+ mix of on / offshore resources. Escalating issues will be very important. Agile ceremonies to stay in the weeds with the team. Not building stories or prioritization to facilitate that with the team. Will have a PO working with them... most story generation will be automated.

Technical environment: PM does not need to know how to write Python but understand what s going on with the technologies

Questions: No budget allocation. What do you want to see? This is a multiyear project 2 different staffing companies working from support and dev perspective. So knowing how to work with all these different orgs. So, position 1 is a much broader scope. Experience scaling with large team(s)

Position -2 : Data & Platform Delivery will not conduct Agile ceremonies. Another position will handle that (the technical PO) Not a massive project like PM 1. This will be a lot of smaller projects; 5-10 medium sized projects ; can get very complicated for the PMs and POs to keep focused on 2-3 at high level and balancing more distant line of sight on the other 5-6 etc. A lot of juggling and communicating back n fourth with business stakeholders. Again, no budget management. Familiar with tech stack will be a huge plus.

Ability to manage people not just check the box.

So in a nutshell Data Product PM Needs Agile and ability to manage very large scale migration effort being supported by 3 separate companies.

Data & Platform PM Does not need Agile managing the 9-5 everyday business of development work for his durable team. Typically managing around 6-10 projects at a time. Projects are mixture of API development and AWS data engineering tasks.
