Overview

The Senior Web Application Developer (Power Platforms Developer (Front End) is responsible for designing, testing, and developing well-designed web-based software code that is testable and efficient, using best software development practices to meet user needs.

This role involves recommending software upgrades for current and future systems, translating User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design wireframes, ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing, and documenting every aspect of the application, service, or environment as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize the user interface
  • Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces that enhance user experience
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make improvements
  • Develop custom applications using Power Apps
  • Automate workflows and business processes using Power Automate
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights and data visualization.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • 8 Years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of IT and/or Development
  • Bachelor's Degree (additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the Degree)
  • 1+ year of experience with Power BI and SharePoint
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and/or BA experience
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills Required:
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices.
  • Ability to recommend and implement software upgrades.
  • Experience in software maintenance and testing to ensure continued functionality.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and libraries.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of database management and integration.
  • Understanding of web security best practices.
  • Ability to document processes and code for future maintenance and upgrades.

Preferred Skills:
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400).
  • Experience Dynamics 365, and Azure services.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Working Conditions

  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.

Pay Range

USD $125,000.00 - USD $132,537.00 /Yr.
