Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician Job Details:\n

\n
• Performs diagnostic laboratory procedures that provide timely and accurate test results for providers to use in appropriately diagnosing and treating patients
\n
• Follows the Lab's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results
\n
• Properly identifies and collects adequate specimens for laboratory testing via venipuncture, capillary collection, arterial collection (radial only), etc.
\n
• Adheres to facility policies as well as federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines
\n
• Shows initiative and/or cooperation to maintain workflow, participates in teamwork, and is flexible with sharing training duties for new employees and MLT/MLS students
\n

Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician Requirements:\n

\n
• Medical Laboratory Technician must be certified with one of the following: ASCP, HEW, HHS, ASMT.
\n
• Valid Driver s License and the ability to travel to other work sites as needed with own transportation
\n
• BLS upon hire
