Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Discovery Developer with strong expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow Discovery solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with CMDB, cloud resource discovery, automation, and infrastructure integrations, along with a strong understanding of enterprise cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support ServiceNow Discovery solutions.
• Configure and manage MID Servers, Discovery Patterns, and Sensors.
• Maintain and improve CMDB health, data quality, and governance.
• Utilize Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) to ensure accurate CMDB data management.
• Discover and manage cloud resources across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform within ServiceNow CMDB.
• Develop automation and tooling solutions using Python.
• Troubleshoot Discovery performance issues, credential-related challenges, and infrastructure integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to support enterprise ServiceNow environments.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and solution delivery.

Required Qualifications

• ServiceNow Discovery Certification (Required).
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery implementation and support.
• Expertise in:
  • MID Server Configuration
  • Discovery Patterns
  • Sensors
  • Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
  • CMDB Administration and Health Management
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform resource discovery within ServiceNow.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting and automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and networking.
• Proven troubleshooting skills related to Discovery, credentials, and integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AWS services and cloud-native environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, including:
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Amazon Q
  • ServiceNow AI Capabilities
  • Other GenAI-based development assistants

Expectations

• Professional experience should be verifiable through standard background verification processes.
• Relevant certifications should be valid and verifiable.
• Candidates should be comfortable utilizing AI-powered development and productivity tools.
• Ability to work closely with ServiceNow engineering teams supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.
