Job Title: Backend Developer

Location: United States (On-site)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and reliable applications that meet business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Maintain documentation for developed systems and processes
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of professional software development experience (adjust based on level)
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
Experience with software development frameworks and tools
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
