About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) Senior Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions for global manufacturing clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong manufacturing domain expertise, hands-on SAP DM implementation experience, and the ability to bridge shop-floor execution with enterprise systems including SAP S/4HANA. Industry job descriptions for SAP DM roles commonly emphasize SAP DM implementations, manufacturing process expertise, S/4HANA integration, workshop facilitation, and customer-facing leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP Digital Manufacturing implementation projects from discovery through go-live and hypercare.
Conduct customer workshops and translate business requirements into SAP DM solutions.
Configure and deploy SAP DM capabilities including:
Production Execution
Resource & Work Center Management
Manufacturing Data Collection
Traceability & Genealogy
Quality & Shop Floor Operations
Design integrations between SAP DM, SAP S/4HANA, MES, PLCs, shop-floor equipment, and third-party applications.
Support solution architecture, functional design, testing, training, and deployment activities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, manufacturing teams, and technical developers.
Lead SIT, UAT, cutover planning, and go-live support.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to solution accelerators and best practices.
Support pre-sales activities, demonstrations, estimates, and proposal development

Required Qualifications
7+ years of SAP Manufacturing/MES consulting experience.
3+ years of hands-on SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM/DMC) implementation experience.
Minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP DM implementations.
Strong understanding of manufacturing execution processes in discrete and/or process industries.
Experience integrating SAP DM with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with manufacturing data collection, production execution, traceability, and quality processes.
Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP BTP, Integration Suite (CPI), APIs, and event-driven integration.
Knowledge of SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo), SAP MII, or SAP ME.
Experience in Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, or Process Industries.
SAP Digital Manufacturing certification preferred.
Experience leading global delivery teams and multi-site deployments.
