Position: GIS Analyst

Location: Seattle, WA (Remote Mostly Once in a week onsite)

Contract: 6+ Months and Extendable

Client: Sound Transit

Description:

The Sound Transit Data & Information Services team is seeking to hire a temporary GIS Analyst for a 12-month project focused on creating Agency asset records within GIS. This role will collaborate with the EAMS and CAD teams to prioritize and convert key assets by transforming CAD data into GIS format. Additionally, the position will support data visualization of infrastructure inspection records in both GIS and SQL databases, utilizing ARCGIS Enterprise and PowerBI.

Create GIS map

Create GIS Dashboards

Create PowerBI Dashboards

Working knowledge of the principles of spatial data

Working knowledge of the principles of Geographic Information Systems

Working knowledge of ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro software

Working knowledge of Python

Working knowledge of ArcGIS Model Builder

Working knowledge AutoCAD software

Candidate will be working remote for most part however he/she will be required to be in office once a week.
