Title : Microsoft Fabric Senior Data Engineer
Location : Richardson, TX Hybrid (10 days onsite per month)
Rate : $72/hr on W2
Employment Type : W2 Position
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience in Azure data platforms and strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and modern data engineering stacks.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and implement end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, OneLake, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines)
· Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Databricks, ADF, and Synapse
· Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes and ensure seamless data integration across platforms
· Work with Delta Lake, Parquet, and distributed data systems for efficient data storage and processing
· Write advanced SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) and develop complex queries, views, triggers, and stored procedures
· Design and maintain data models including Star and Snowflake schemas
· Implement PolyBase and manage data movement between Data Lake and Azure Synapse SQL pools
· Build and manage data marts and metadata layers
Required Skills:
· Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Pipelines, OneLake, Dataflows Gen2)
· Azure Data Platform (Databricks, Synapse, ADLS Gen2, ADF)
· Strong SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) and Python/PySpark/Scala
· Data modeling and data warehousing concepts
