Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer – iOS to join a team building customer-facing mobile experiences used by millions of users.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing native iOS applications using Swift, with expertise in SwiftUI, UIKit, modern iOS architecture, REST APIs, Swift Concurrency/Combine, and Spec-Driven Development (SDD).

This role requires strong technical ownership, collaboration with Product, Design, QA, Architecture, and Platform teams, and the ability to deliver scalable, high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
• Lead technical solution design and implementation for customer-facing iOS experiences.
• Develop features related to device upgrades, trade-ins, plan management, line/device management, billing, payments, onboarding, activation, international services, and customer engagement.
• Integrate iOS applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Drive engineering best practices, quality initiatives, and technical excellence.
• Mentor and guide other engineers.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, and Platform teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift.
• Strong experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.
• Strong knowledge of the iOS SDK and application lifecycle.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling client-server interactions.
• Experience with Swift Concurrency (async/await) and/or Combine.
• Hands-on experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD), including working from detailed specifications, acceptance criteria, API contracts, and architecture designs.
• Experience with Git-based source control and modern development workflows.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Production experience with SwiftUI.
• Experience with modular architectures and reusable frameworks.
• Experience with XCTest, unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing.
• Experience with feature flags and staged rollouts.
• Familiarity with mobile analytics, observability, and experimentation platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
• GraphQL / GraphQL API integration experience is a plus.
