Job Title: Senior Business Architect (Organizational Change Management)
Work Location: Springfield, IL (Hybrid- 1 or 2 days per week.)

Role Overview:
The Senior Business Architect serves as a strategic leader responsible for driving enterprise-wide change initiatives by aligning business strategy, people, processes, and technology. This role acts as the single point of contact for end-user communications, leading stakeholder engagement, conducting deep business and workflow analysis, and ensuring successful adoption of transformational initiatives. The incumbent partners closely with executive leadership, program managers, HR, IT, and compliance teams to deliver sustainable, inclusive, and measurable change outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Change Strategy & Architecture
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive change management strategies aligned with organizational goals and transformation roadmaps.
- Assess and document change impacts across people, processes, technology, and operating models.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable change plans supporting enterprise initiatives, digital transformations, and process modernization efforts.
- Ensure alignment with industry-recognized change management frameworks, including ADKAR best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Leadership
- Act as the primary liaison for all project communications with business users, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct structured stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to capture needs, expectations, and risks.
- Identify stakeholder groups, map influence and impact levels, and design engagement strategies accordingly.
- Build trust, credibility, and buy-in through proactive, transparent, and targeted communication.
Communication & Messaging Strategy
- Design and execute multi-channel communication plans (executive briefings, town halls, newsletters, dashboards, and FAQs).
- Tailor messaging for diverse audiences, including executives, managers, frontline staff, and external partners.
- Ensure consistency of messaging across programs while adapting content to organizational context and maturity.
Training, Enablement & Adoption
- Perform training needs assessments and skill gap analyses to support organizational readiness.
- Partner with training teams to coordinate development and delivery of learning programs, job aids, and enablement materials.
- Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital platforms to track participation and effectiveness.
- Support business units through transition periods to ensure sustained adoption and operational stability.
Resistance Management & Leadership Coaching
- Proactively identify potential resistance points and develop mitigation and reinforcement strategies.
- Coach leaders, managers, and change champions to address employee concerns with empathy and clarity.
- Facilitate workshops, feedback sessions, and town halls to surface issues and reinforce change objectives.
Analytical Assessment & Measurement
- Conduct organizational readiness and impact assessments using surveys, interviews, and qualitative/quantitative analysis.
- Define change success metrics and KPIs, including adoption rates, engagement levels, and performance indicators.
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI to provide leadership with actionable insights.
- Continuously monitor outcomes and refine strategies based on data-driven feedback.
Digital Tools & Collaboration Enablement
- Utilize digital platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and collaboration tools (Teams, Miro, Confluence) to drive engagement and transparency.
- Ensure documentation, workflows, and communication artifacts are centralized, accessible, and version-controlled.
- Support digital enablement initiatives that enhance collaboration and organizational agility.
Governance, Compliance & Inclusion
- Ensure all change initiatives comply with organizational policies, HR guidelines, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Embed accessibility, inclusion, and equity principles into change strategies.
- Ensure solutions and communications adhere to WCAG accessibility standards and align with DEI commitments.
- Partner with compliance and governance teams to manage risk and ensure audit readiness.
