Oracle EBS Technofunctional Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of an Oracle EBS Technofunctional Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of complex, high-risk technical initiatives
* Provide hands-on technical direction across enterprise applications, platforms, and interconnected systems
* Diagnose and resolve critical production issues, including problems spanning multiple applications or without established solutions
* Make and defend significant architecture, system design, data, integration, and technology decisions
* Establish engineering standards, reference architectures, reusable components, and development best practices
* Review high-impact technical designs and resolve competing approaches, dependencies, and cross-system risks
* Drive application modernization while improving performance, reliability, security, maintainability, and operational resilience
* Design and support complex database solutions, integrations, and enterprise financial applications
* Guide responsible adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools and development practices
* Mentor engineers and influence technical roadmaps, priorities, and long-term platform strategy
* Partner with business and technology leaders on delivery plans, milestones, tradeoffs, and risk mitigation
* Provide technical leadership during high-priority production incidents and escalations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
* 8+ years of experience in database development, including advanced SQL and PL/SQL
* Extensive hands-on experience creating complex queries, stored procedures, packages, and triggers
* Deep technical and functional knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture and core modules
* Experience supporting Oracle EBS implementations, integrations, upgrades, enhancements, and production operations
* Working knowledge of financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and financial reporting
* Experience designing or supporting banking system integrations and related interfaces
* Advanced expertise in one or more application stacks, such as C#/.NET, Java, JavaScript, or React
* Prior C#/.NET application development experience is preferred
* Strong system, database, interface, and data architecture skills
* Demonstrated success leading complex technical initiatives and resolving critical production problems
* Experience developing engineering standards, reusable patterns, and reference architectures
* Strong understanding of application performance, reliability, security, integration, and supportability
* Ability to provide technical direction across multiple applications, platforms, and teams
* Strong mentoring, communication, decision-making, and stakeholder-influence skills
* Availability to assist with critical production issues and incident escalations when required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
