Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Forward Deployment Engineer to support strategic initiatives for our client, Apple. This role requires a strong combination of software engineering expertise, customer engagement, and business problem-solving capabilities.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience working at Apple and possess a deep understanding of operating within Apple's engineering and business environment. You will work directly with Supply Chain and Procurement stakeholders to deploy, customize, and scale AI-driven and data-centric solutions in production environments.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role requiring strong technical depth, excellent communication skills, and the ability to bridge business requirements with scalable technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Partner directly with business stakeholders and operational teams to understand business challenges and define scalable technical solutions.
Deploy, customize, and optimize enterprise solutions within real-world production environments.
Lead architecture design, troubleshooting, and performance optimization efforts.
Build and enhance AI/GenAI-powered workflows, automation frameworks, and intelligent tooling.
Design and implement scalable data pipelines and integrations using Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to drive product enhancements and deployment success.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customer stakeholders and internal teams.
Mentor engineers and contribute to technical best practices and operational excellence.
Drive continuous improvements in deployment reliability, scalability, and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployment, or Technical Consulting roles.
Mandatory: Prior experience working at Apple.
Strong hands-on coding experience with Python and SQL.
Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, and enterprise solution deployment.
Experience leveraging AI/GenAI, automation, and intelligent tooling to solve complex business problems.
Strong experience with Data Engineering platforms and technologies including Snowflake.
Proven experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and highly collaborative environments.
