Job Description
We are seeking a Collaboration Engineer to join our IT Digital Workplace organization. This role is critical to designing, deploying, and supporting modern collaboration solutions with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 (M365), while integrating key third-party platforms such as Zoom, Box, Slack, and Unily. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with a customer-focused mindset and an interest in AI-powered collaboration, including Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions, including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and the Power Platform.
- Act as a technical advisor for digital workplace initiatives, translating business requirements into scalable, secure collaboration architectures.
- Lead or support Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness assessments and deployments, focusing on productivity, security, and adoption.
- Architect and support integrations and coexistence across Zoom (meetings/phone), Slack (messaging), Box (content management), and Unily (intranet/digital workplace).
- Provide guidance on governance, security, compliance, and best practices across collaboration platforms.
- Partner with stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure high-quality delivery and user adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
Microsoft 365 (Required)
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and the Power Platform.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 security, governance, identity (Entra ID/Azure AD), and lifecycle management.
Collaboration Platforms (Required)
- Experience supporting Zoom (meetings, webinars, Zoom Phone, AI features).
- Working knowledge of Slack in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Box for secure content storage and sharing.
- Familiarity with Unily or similar digital workplace/intranet platforms.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing, consulting, or enterprise IT role.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles (security, scalability, reliability).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Exposure to AI-enabled productivity tools, with preference for Microsoft 365 Copilot experience
