Summary
We are looking for a WCAG Analyst to join a leading educational institution to help drive digital accessibility compliance.
Position Details
- Location: Columbia, SC (1201 Main Street).
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days onsite required). Note: Preference given to SC residents; nationwide remote candidates may be considered if local talent is unavailable.
- Interview Process: 1-round, virtual interview.
Position Summary
You will be the bridge between technical standards and business decisions. This role focuses on reviewing Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs), analyzing VPATs, and providing clear risk assessments to support institutional technology procurement.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- VPAT Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with VPAT analysis and ACR reviews.
- Risk Assessment: Proven experience in accessibility risk documentation and technical writing.
- Standards Knowledge: 3+ years of experience interpreting WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 standards.
- Bonus Points: Formal accessibility certifications (IAAP/CPACC/WAS), experience in higher education/government, or background in procurement processes.
